I was looking for flowers mainly on this visit to the Preserve, and limited my walk to the three pond area behind the Visitor Center. I was glad to see nine Snowy Egrets that were eager to have their photos taken (after I crept in low enough so they couldn't see me on the trail - then they got used to me, so I could stand up). Not a very fruitful day as far as flowers. There should be more on my next visit to the Savannah trail. It was very windy the day before, so there was a large quantity of tree branch litter on the trails. There were no dragonflies that I noticed. A little too early.
