Another foggy bottom morning at the Preserve. That wreaks havoc with the colors and contrast when shooting, so a lot of Photoshop adjustment is called for. Actually, this is a sunrise taken two different days, but both foggy, so there wasn't much difference and I posted both of them together. The snow geese photo was way overexposed, shot when foggy and so the final version is a poor rendition of what should have been. There were hundreds of birds on that fly out on Desmond Road. The Cooper's hawk photo was taken after I got home and walked outside, spooking this guy who was in our Chinese pistasche, waiting for some house finches to visit our birdfeeder. He flew into the neighbor's backyard, but I was able to get a good look at him before he continued his jaunt.
