After raining early this morning, the rain finally stopped right before I arrived at the Preserve. Clouds were the measure of the shoot. Observed two Downey woodpeckers, a Savannah sparrow, a Fox sparrow digging in the leaves about 10' in front of me on the trail, a few Spotted towhee, black phoebes, American wigeons, Northern pintail, two Great egrets, two Blue herons, and more.
