I was surprised to see a buck and doe to the northeast of the Visitor Center as I started to walk across the bridge. A little too tame, letting me take 10 minutes worth of pictures before I left them behind. Lots of birds as most of the ponds are filled and migration is in full swing. Didn't find any eagles and don't know what it was that spooked the geese on Desmond Road/Bruceville Road. But it was a noisy treat.
