New Year's Day offered a few clouds for a nice sunset in the Valley. Very few Sandhill Cranes at the Refuge on Woodbridge Road, unfortunately, so the crowd didn't get to see the hundreds that are usually here year after year. There were only about a dozen that landed close enough to get decent photos.
