I wanted to head to the Savannah today because the sheep grazing is finished. I was disappointed to see the grasses cropped along with wildflowers. The valley oaks were showing their spring green beautifully. Birds were active. My first time to see a single chicory bloom and Western swallowtail on the River Walk trail, which I took all the way to the river this time. I'm pooped.
