We headed out on our annual trek to Electra Road and environs to check out the wildflowers this week. The recent wildfire that burned along Electra Road had stunted the poppy growth significantly, but the show on Hwy 49 just north of there was a wonderful display of larger, denser blooms. There are only a few other flowers blooming right now and more will be showing in the coming weeks.
