Lodi is only 10 minutes away from us, yet is a totally different world - small town atmosphere and a beautiful lake and nature trail along the Mokolumne River. The water is super high this year with the extra snow pack and still extremely cold.
I didn't want the summer to pass without getting more dragonfly shots, so we headed there for lunch and a walk around the trail. Lots of friendly people on the path with kids. We enjoyed discovering a herd of juvenile frogs also, but didn't like stepping on them by accident!
