The Franklin Blvd. south pond is starting to fill, getting ready for the first arrivals to the Preserve. The number of dragonflies this morning at sunrise was astounding on Desmond Road and Bruceville Road. Hundreds of White-faced Ibis flew overhead, along with Canada geese. Black-necked stilts were seen in the Desmond pond. Nothing unusual seen except a magpie and empty nest at the side of the road.
