The San Joaquin Valley has precious few preserved oak groves left. This one is in Stockton, right off of I-5 and Eight Mile Road. There are two trails --- one a full, unpaved trail around the back of the park, and the other is a short, paved trail with benches for you old timers.
Not much wildlife except birds and lizzards. I didn't see one squirrel, but it was the middle of the day.
