Saturday's solo trek to Knight's Ferry turned out to be a 6-hour, 570 photo, grueling tour. With 195 surviving pictures, both the beauty of the banks of the Stanislaus River, the uniqueness of the covered bridge and the history of a Civil War battle are preserved again this year. Great fun meeting and talking to re-enactors and visitors, including Michael, Matthew, Jim and Mel on the Confederate side. PLEASE USE THE SLIDESHOW FEATURE BUTTON AT THE RIGHT AND TURN OFF AUTO-SHOW BUTTON AFTER YOU'RE IN THE SLIDESHOW. Thanks for visiting!
