Hearst Castle on Hwy 1 in California epitomizes a love of Western European Art, opulence and the power of money -- all which reminds us of King Solomon's famous words, "Vanity of vanities, all is vanity." He knew from experience what it was like to be the richest man in the world and build the greatest and most beautiful edifice known to man at that time. And yet he proclaimed that it is all worthless if not God-centered and God-glorifying.
