The winter's birding related events includes the Galt Bird Festival. Exhibits included reptiles, live bats, Save the Mokolumne River and doughnuts and coffee. There were crafts for kids, decoys for adults and presentations for all. A number of chartered bus tours were available that visited area birding sites and refuges.
People were friendly, the Canon lens exhibit was awesome and the doughnuts were great!
