I was looking forward to a freeze on a Saturday that I could visit the Preserve. Today was the day, and I wasn't disappointed. Cold, but not too cold.

The oak leaves with fringes of ice are fascinating and well worth the effort to shoot them close up. Focus is the biggest challenge.
