After cruising Montana de Oro, we headed for Avila Beach for lunch at Fatty's, then a walk on Pier Three, then downtown to the farmer's market and foo-foo fare.
We were definitely in SoCal country by the way people looked. This was not your father's Avila Beach. The whole main street has been transformed into a line of two story boutique shops, imported palm trees and tropical paint schemes.
There's probably no oil tar to stick to your feet, either! I miss the old days!
