This preserve is only 15 years old. It features 5600 acres of low wetlands west of Elk Grove, Ca.

The poor quality of these telephoto shots are the result of using a cheap 200mm lens with a 2X converter. As soon as I muster about $1200, I'll graduate to a knock-your-socks-off lens like Linda G. had!

We had a great time meeting new people, learning about the area and seeing some beautifully created wildlife and flora.
