We weren't expecting such huge crowds in Cayucos on July 4th. We had to park on Bakersfield Street, high on the hill above the beach and figured it would be 11:00pm or later before we could get out of town and back to Paso Robles. So we opted to leave early and skip the fireworks. No regrets.
