Thick brown smoke was the first indication that a bad blaze was in progress. From our house it looked like it was by my workplace. Liz, Barb and I raced (camera in hand) to the scene, which was actually downtown on Union Street, about 4 blocks south of Miner. Looked like an old warehouse. Rumor had it that people were getting it ready for demolition. I don't think anyone was hurt, thankfully. Lots of lookie loo's, including us.
