There's something magnetic about this area around Lodi Lake that keeps us visiting a few times a year. With the Mokolumne River winding around it, there is an abundance of flora and fauna to discover and enjoy.

Right now the dragonflies, tadpoles and frogs are multiplying in the backwater areas, while acres of pink blossoms adorn the blackberry bushes. Cottonwood trees are shedding and new growth is seen everywhere.

Today's temp was around 90 degrees and the humidity was hanging around the water, but I was probably the only one complaining about it after a cold, wet spring.
