Sponsored by the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA, the "Prowln the Mile" block party drew a large crowd of locals who wanted to see classic cars and skateboarding competition and hear live music and kids screaming for the balloon man to make them a sword, tiara or Spider Man.
Not too rowdy (but we left about 7:30), various food and ware vendors dotted Pacific Avenue for a few blocks outside the old Empire Theater.
