My first visit to Delta College's flower gardens was an early morning trek to catch the first sun. Unfortunately, the new building that's being completed across the street, east of the flowers, casts a giant shadow until the sun is too high. Oh, well, what can you say. Maybe by mid-summer the sun will be rising farther north and the new building won't be a problem.
The highlight of my visit was meeting another early-riser, Kevin, who was armed with his Nikon D200 and two macro lenses. He was finishing up, so we talked about different places we shoot around the area. Thanks, Kevin, for the visit. Maybe I'll see you again:
