It was time for a leisurely stroll around the mile loop at Cosumnes Preserve this morning. My knee is still bothering me from Friday's lifting and twisting for 5 or more hours at work. Today's captures include a Bullock's oriole. May be the same one I saw last Monday. Not too friendly a bird. The American goldfinches, on the other hand, were quite tame, coming within 15' to 20'. The ponds are drying up. Last Monday's green heron photos in a little pond were impossible today - no water left. Lots of folks out today. Full parking lot when I left.
