The sunrise was a fiery show Friday morning here in the valley, so I wanted to see if it could be equaled Saturday. Although the clouds were there, there was a layer of clouds over the Sierra which blocked direct sunlight for dramatic color.
It was a beautiful morning nonetheless, warm, lots of mosquitoes, clear air and singing birds. It's spring!
