Heading south from Crossville on Hwy 127 leads past the Cumberland Mountain State Park to the Sequatchie Valley with Wallings Ridge bordering the east and the Plateau rising to the east.


The old town of Pikeville was closed on Labor Day. I was the only person in town when I got there, I think.
Piggly-Wiggly was open, though.
