Majestic trees, especially oaks, convey a transcendent strength that can be appreciated at any time during any season. Seen at sunrise, they take on a warm hue that softens that strength a little as they glow in the morning sunlight.
On the way to Temple Baptist Church in Lodi, CA, I was able to get a sunrise shot that I have wanted to get for some time. The timing was perfect to catch this pair of oaks as silhouettes against the foothills of the Sierra range. Taken on the east side of West Lane at McNair High School.
This specimen oak on the grounds of Temple Baptist Church grows at the west side of the parking lot. These shots are similar as Tree Lodi, Inc. will make choices of different views for publication.
