When Barbara was a teenager, she and her family lived above the Kuehl Funeral Home in Paso Robles, CA for awhile. She has wonderful memories of being teased at school and being scared by pranksters who worked beneath the upper apartment.
She'd always wanted to go back and visit the old roost and was given the opportunity recently when the former renter had moved out and the place was pretty empty.
Great architecture and history made for a great time visiting.
