Another venture along Electra Road south of Jackson on Hwy 88 surprised us with the amount of wildflowers blooming in spite of the drought. The recent rains in March and April must have helped.
The poppies never opened due to partly sunny skies. It rained most of the day yesterday, also.
I was hoping to see the Mariposa lily and lacepod today, and I wasn't disappointed.
The show wasn't as full as we've seen in past, wet years, but wonderfully beautiful, nonetheless.
God has created such an amazing variety in nature - and to think that we can see and enjoy it - and Him because of it!
