It was Don and Janet's turn to visit Sutter Creek and enjoy the architecture, history and flavor of the Gold Rush era. Don and I meandered around the Knight Foundery, where he instructed me on the use of much of the old equipment. Janet, Barb and Angel meandered through the stores.
We met up at the Ice Cream Emporium, of course, and had our fill before hitting two garage sales up the road.
