Angel and I drove to Sutter Creek to get out of the valley fog, but first had lunch in Lockeford and visited the local historic cemetery at Locke Church to get a few somber shots that we could convert to black and white. The Sutter Creek sunshine was a welcome change from the dreary fog and overcast the Valley has experienced for the past days. Bright and happy colors greeted us as we visited the Knight's Foundry and a few other highlights. We stopped by the Emporium for our traditional ice cream cone and a young girl came in and started playing some practice pieces on the piano. I grabbed a shot of her, then after she left Angel bee-lined to the ivories and showed off a bit with her jazz renditions. Very cool time!
