I took the day off work to capture what I had missed nine years ago as the Amgen Tour made another start in Stockton. I wanted to shoot for color mainly. I wasn't disappointed in that department. The race start only takes a few seconds, so I knew getting good, sharp images would be iffy. All of my panning shots as they rounded the first corner were a bust except for one that I had to crop extensively.
