After last night's rain, I hoped for a nice sunrise with clouds. There was a cloud bank to the east, but it wouldn't let the sun shine underneath it, so that was a bust. But the drenching provided some nice spring shots at the Preserve.

The tall grasses had been blown over and weighted down by the wind and rain, the birds were in mating/nesting mode and new life (dragonflies) was emerging in the tall cattails. Even with the drought, they're keeping plenty of water in the land-locked ponds for the critters.
