This is my second year to visit this reenactment in Lockeford, held at the old schoolhouse. It's a great way to experience living history and connect with the past. Thankfully, these volunteers aren't locked into a 'period' role and would talk present tense as well as past tense.

They are trying to increase funds to make this a two day event next year. The ultimate goal is to be able to use an area large enough for battle scenes.
