There were quite a few more cranes this week than last. The remaining dry ponds will be filled in a few weeks. I was able to 'sneak' up on a trio of cranes, but they still knew I was there, which pretty much spoiled the photos for me. The waggley-tailed fox squirrel was a lot of fun to shoot. First one I've seen since the flooding last winter.
